What is a CFD? A Contract For Difference (CFD) is an agreement to exchange the difference between the entry price and exit price of a financial instrument or commodity. CFDs are leveraged financial products which carry risk as you can incur losses greater than the amount of funds you lodge for trading.

There are two forms of CFD Trading available in the market, Market Made and Exchange Listed. Exchange listed CFDs are traded on an exchange such as the ASX whereas Market Made CFDs are an Over the Counter (OTC) contract between the client and the CFD provider.
